The Thermofox Maxi is one of the most modern miniature data loggers available today.
In its casing, even smaller than a matchbox, it combines an air temperature sensor, a RISC microcontroller, a real-time clock and calendar, memory for up to 16,000 readings (optionally up to 64,000 readings) and a standard battery. All of this together forms a powerful analysis system. The data logger features highly simplified operation, high reliability, intelligent minimum/maximum extreme value recording and optimised battery life (the battery can be replaced at any time).
Programming and analysis of the recorded measurement data is performed with the aid of the universal software - SoftFOX that runs under Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 or Windows 11. Newer Microsoft operating systems will also be supported. Once the Thermofox Maxi is connected to the computer via an interface cable, the system is immediately available for readouts and configuration. The software offers many general functions, such as dynamic project management, graphical data analysis, appending of notes, an export function, automatic backup, flexible zooming, and much more. In addition, the data logger can be configured to suit your requirements. Available functions include setting the measuring rhythm (1 second to 24  hours), configuring the real-time clock, setting the condition
for the alarm signal, minimum/maximum monitoring for comprehensive recording of extreme values, battery test, digital
serial number, and much more.
In addition to the measurement data analysis with a PC, the accumulated data can also be printed out on site with the aid of a portable mini-printer. It is also possible to connect an alarm system to the data logger. In this way, it is possible to trigger a telephone alarm signal or SMS alarm message in the event that an air temperature measurement falls outside a predetermined range. An acoustic alarm can also be connect to the data logger. The areas of application for the Thermofox Maxi range from weather stations, refrigerated warehouses, air-conditioner and heating systems, goods transport, automotive technology to process control, and much more. |
